I love balloons. All kinds of them. I had a little heart shape tattoed last week and I'm dying to show you, but I want it to be healed.

David LaChapelle: a party of colors!

David LaChapelle is one of the most interesting and innovative photographers of this generation, proving every now and then that photography is an art and that are few photographers who understand this. His conceptual photography, full of colors and saturation, has a deep connection with the bizarre and the fantastic.

I also love the fact that he started his career at the 80s and worked with Andy Warhol, when he started to photograph great artists. He directed some video clips and documentary videos. LaChapelle worked with Christina Aguilera, Moby, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, The Vines, Elton John, No Doubt…

Now, David LaChapelle is more into fine art photography again, putting together some big exhibitions all over the world. I’m really hopping he comes to Brazil! (:

Photography began as a record of images. It is a combination of light exposure and fixation of these images in a sensitive material. Then came digital photography, the blessing of bloggers and the big break with the paradigms of development process and the choice of film that meant so much in the final result of the images.
