I’ve been hearing a lot about fashion blogs and about controversy about the merchandising and monetization of this media. In Brazil, it has become a small war between bloggers and journalists, and it made me realize some things.
I’ve been blogging since 2000, I guess. I had Geocities space and thousands of blogs that worked for me as a daily journal of my teenage adventures. Now, I’m journalist who loves to write in medias I can feel free (what is an impossible goal to achieve when writing to big magazines).
I’m not a fashion blogger and I never intended to be, just because I know nothing about fashion, I only know what I like and what I deeply dislike, but it doesn’t seem to me that I have the ability to say what one should use or not. Even though I don’t feel part of all this polemic, I couldn’t avoid questioning myself about what kind of voice I am and what I want with this blog.
I realized that my interests are limited to photography, “old” styles, like 20’s to 70’s, pin up culture, tattoos. I also would like to share some things about my daily routine, my work and projects. I’m not really interest on creating that kind of content that one shows you some luxurious stuff they purchased. I want this to be a place where I can meet people over the world who likes the same things I do.
So, if you are with me since the beginning, you may notice I changed my side bar and I'm changing the content of the blog a little too. I still will share beauty tips if they worth it (in my opinion, of course), but I intend to be more dedicated to subjects that are in my heart and in my mind constantly.

I hope you enjoy it!
Big kiss…
