these little ears are all over the place. Minnie must be jealous. In versions kitten and bunny, they give a sensual and playful air to girls.

Honestly, I don't know what occasion it would be really usable. Maybe, just within four walls or even on another time with a good dash of daring. But they are soooo pretty!

Self portrait challenge: round 1

I love self-portraits! I dedicate hours watching my favorite photographers, blogs authors  platforms who post lots of personal pictures. I think is one of the best ways to learn and master the camera, angles, light and editing tools because the commitment to customer satisfaction is greatly simplified, right?

So let's go!

I took this picture with a 50mm lens, crop a little bit and I put a color mask in Picasa because I'm with no editing software in this pc, so it couldn't be worst! But we evolve together, guys!

Family photobook, so good!

There are those who love, take several photos and store in them in a great albums to show to posterity. There are those who like a little less than half thought unfashionable or have to do is unaccustomed. The truth is that the family albums will always be a little piece of history for us all.

Lori Rivas-Huneke can, however, break the resistance of less passionated and steal the hearts of those who are already aficionados of family photograph. She is a talented photographer with a studio in California that makes creative unusual images and, at the same time, keeps the air of traditional portraits. Check it out:

Pin Ups: Why love them so much!

I love Pin Ups! There's nothing new in that, since the blog is full of them. But do you know why? Well, it isn't exclusively of the sensuality of those girls that is so vivid that often is all you people can see in them. What love about Pin Ups is the confidence that they will inevitably show. They had a glare, the courage to show feminility and sex appeal in a period in which morality was undoubtedly more severe than today.

Femininity appears in an almost aggressive approach, the curves are valued (regardless of being a model drizzling or 'plus size', as we call it now). Even today, with modern pin ups that appear here so often, there is a search for building a new and diverse beauty standard. Tattoos, reamers, clothes and shoes beautifully adapted to their fashion wishes of these girls (that's not commercial at all), come along in this universe. But there are no standards, girls with the skin ink free , full of shyness, but with a bit of self-esteem and self-confidence found their place in this movement.

Take care of yourself, love yourself intensively it's a wonderful attitude. Makeup tricks can help to enhance ones best, a hair neatly combed can fill the chest of the confidence these women knew / know so well. Of course these are symbolic acts, superficial things to do, which encourage the appearance of much deeper feelings. The fact is that if you feel the best you can possibly be, you'll act as best as you can and will receive admiration from others with such confidence.

Many of us need it, this dose of self-esteem and self-confidence. We need to feel valuable, both in appearance and in the opinions that we place in society, in the certainty that we are building something bigger, an idea. As these Pin Ups brought new views on femininity and sexuality, those women were so important in the imagination of sailors and soldiers (who remained on track dreaming about them) that they're still remembered and admired. I think we can continue this story.

My tip: look for what makes you feel all good! The lipstick, the haircut, the reading that fills you with delicious ideas and opinions that will be heard. Look for the education you need to improve what you love doing. Just don't let your life pass with the feeling of being in a middle term with everything. Being in a middle term is not funny. The good thing in life is to feel you're change the world a little bit each day ...

Tim Walker: pure romance

Tim Walker is a fantastic photographer. He has published many different and interesting works on Vogue. His unique style can't be unnoticed.

His career began in 1994 as a freelance photographer in London. He moved to NY, some time later as Richard Avedon. When he returned to the UK, focused on portraits and documentaries. At 25, photographed the first fashion shoot and that's when his story began to change.

The Victory and Alfred Museum and the National Portrait Gallery in London included photographs of Walker in its permanent collection. His first major exhibition took place in 2008, the Design Museum, also in London. In the same year, Tim Walker released the book "Pictures".

Hair and no pc

I'm without my pc for two weeks now and it's making me crazy!

I'm also thinking about changing my hair again. I may be very restless when talking about my hair, but I can't avoid it.

This is how it looks like now:

These are two diferent styles I'm missing:

I used have short black hair and, when I was much younger then today, I had this red long hair. I loved these two ways to use my hair, but I'm not totally decided if is time for a change...

Mascara

I think we each have a crash for a specific makeup product. Some people don't go out without lipstick nor blush, for other girls concealer is essential. To me, what I can not miss is a bit of mask for the lashes to lift the look. So every now and then I fall into temptation and buy some more mascaras to put in my case. This is my current collection:

From left to right:

- LA Girls Lash Boosting, I use it when I want to some volume.

- Natura Faces Colorless, I like to use on eyebrows

- Avon Super Curlacious; make nice curves (the brush is suitable for this purpose)

- Mary Kate Signature; it lasts all night

- Mary Kate Ultimate Mascara; guess versatile and is very alike the other one

- Maybelline Colossal; pure drama

- Maybelline One by One, the one I use more in everyday life, it separates the lashes and is super natural.
